Lizet and Remy
Celebrated in the heart of Perth city on a classic summers day in the west, Lizet and Remy had it all. Harold Boas gardens in west Perth created the backdrop to the next chapter of the story of Liz and Remy who met all those years ago in Bolivia whilst Remy was travelling South America. These two live for the outdoors and after our coffee catch ups during the wedding planning it was clear that nature and adventure would play a big part in their day. We focused on locations that provided these feels with two portrait locations organised for the beach and South Perth to take in the iconic view.
With “Sandi” (the beloved 4WD) all dressed up ready to transport Lizet and family in tow we had a quick toast and made our way up to West Perth where Remy and his Groomsmen were awaiting our arrival.
The wedding was delivered in both Spanish and English and live-streamed to the other side of the world so all the guest felt involved and connected. It was such a beautiful ceremony.
After the family portraits were captured in a forest-like backdrop, we strolled into the limo with the bridal party en-route for the bridal shoot on the south Perth foreshore. The fun and shenanigans began through the different set-ups we created together and once we were hydrated we swung back to the jetty at Barrack St to board the chartered cruise down the Swan River.
With the formalities finished quickly containing touching speeches from the fathers of the newlyweds and the bridal party. It was clear to me that two amazing people had found each other and their life would be filled with unique and wonderful experiences all around the world to the backdrop of great mix-tapes.
Once the tables were parted to expose the wooden floorboards Lizet and Remy performed their first dance which was a fashionably-choreographed moment fabulous to experience. And as the moon rose, lights dimmed with flares and pockets of coloured-lights illuminating the ship and transforming the cruise to a nightclub on water.
